The most well-know example of Open Source Software is the Linux operating system. Many WWW-, news-, ftp-servers on the internet run on Linux.

This little piece of software can be used for sending mail from web-pages on your own apache www-server.
- LyX (LaTeX Word processor)
- I only added case-insensitive and complete-word search to this editor.
